WOD Notes:  The deadlift is supposed to be a training max.  Work your way up to the heaviest lift you can do with perfect form.  We are not listing a compare to date because we want to stress that this is not a competition max!

    so…what did everyone have for breakfast this am??
    I’ll start:)
    3egg omelet with eggplant, mushrooms and onions
    1 peach
    1 oz walnuts
    2 cups coffee with coconut milk/vanilla/cinnamon

    Banana
    1 oz almonds
    1 cup black coffee

    Breakfast I think will be easy. Lunch w/o bread has me nervous.

      Lunch & Dinner will be easy. But, I don’t eat breakfast much I usually start the day with an Iced Caramel Latte and all of that sugar holds me over until lunch. I was so lost this morning had no idea what to do about breakfast.

    1/2 cup gluten free oatmeal
    2 tablespoons of almond butter
    1/3 cup of pecans
    1 cup of vile black coffee with coconut milk 🙁

      Vile, really? Black coffee is the best. And technically you did not drink it black.

    3 eggs OE, bacon, crispy home fries (with onions), a short stack or pancakes and toast with homemade jam.

    Oh wait….wrong contest.

      John and I each had about 3 scrambled eggs with cherry tomatoes, 1/2 an avocado, a plum, and I had black coffee.

      Lunch was a taco salad – grassfed ground beef on spinach leaves with olive oil and salsa.

    2 cups of coffee with coconut milk
    2 slices pineapple
    Piece of chicken breast in olive oil… BAM!

    Breakfast:
    16 oz coffee (black)
    3 eggs scrambled
    4 slices bacon
    Fresh spinach

    Lunch:
    Packet of Justin’s Almond Butter
    Think Thin Gluten free protein bar
    Plum
    20 oz water

      Breakfast looks good! I don’t have my sign up sheets in front of me so I don’t know if you’re doing level 1 or level 2, but just beware that the think thin gluten free protein bar is not paleo. It’s not really ideal for EITHER level, to be honest… it’s highly processed and it has added sweeteners. Try to find a high quality source of protein, like low sodium boars head deli meats, tuna packets, hardboiled eggs, or (what John and I do) just eat leftovers from dinner the night before!

    Yup, can you tell I’m struggling 🙁

    But I did have 2 5oz. Almond crusted tilapia filets for lunch to make up for it, so I think the house is balanced right now.

      eat more food! laughing b/c you’re the one who said you’re always hungry when you eat paleo… no wonder why if you eat like this!! haha. add eggs and some nuts or avocado for breakfast. Add some veggies to the tilapia filet for lunch. And drizzle EVERYTHING in olive oil!

      I know I should be eating more on Paleo, but sometimes I’m confused on what I can have. I hate eggs is there a breakfast substitute? I also had a bushel of grapes with my tilapia and peppers so does that mean I’ve maxed out on my fruit intake for that day?

      One other thing can anyone tell me where I can get Bison and Venison etc.? I’m assuming this is something not sold at Giant, I’ve never seen it there before.

    Breakfast – 2 Sausage links, 2 bacon strips + Banana
    AM Snack – Peach
    Lunch – Taco Meat and Wegmans Salsa
    PM Snack – Banana
    Dinner (planned) – No Deadlifts and Chicken mixed with spinach

    Breakfast – 2 eggs, 1/4 of a banana, black coffee – made with cinnamon, nutmeg (thanks for the idea MJ!) and pumpkin spice.
    Snack – Cashews and cucumber slices
    Lunch – Plain ice tea, Salad – Chicken, Romaine, tomatoes, cucumber slices, sunflower seeds, oil/vinegar and 1/2 cup blueberries
    Water all day

    Hiya, so I missed meeting last night but will be in tomorrow for test and measurements. And I am doing the whole thing. Today I had: coffee w/ grass fed whey, mct oil, 1/4 cup macadamias. Bison with veggies and some dipping mustard. Then chicken, ground beef, broccoli. Most all cooked in either coconut or mct oil. And a plum!
    See everyone tomorrow, nice job on the deads!
