Only had a crappy smith machine: 225# x 5 a few times and 50# DB squats 10 x 3. I had nothing to stack for box jumps 🙁

starting to see a lot of ROM’s behind my results. It must be time for a rest day :-/
Rest days are good, but don’t worry I don’t think rest was the problem today! ROM just means that your squats didn’t all get below parallel. It’s really common, especially for new crossfitters! It’s just a reminder to keep pushing to get deeper as you gain strength and, more importantly, flexibility. You’ll be squatting below parallel very soon!
Thanks for the fun day! I think I’m happiest about my back squat! My 3 rep max was 185…
John and I had a wonderful time with the 4:30 class. We learned about nail polish, the hot spring colors and trends and j-lo’s dress malfunction…total OMG moment…who does she think she is!
Watch it mcdougle, mcdonnegal, mc…??!! I’ll help with the home gym. We’ll make sure there’s a bar 6″ past your reach so you can do the lovely game-type burpees!
