WOD Notes: “Small” is a hero WOD from the CrossFit mainpage, first posted June 12, 2011. It was designed to be performed individually, but today we’ll complete the WOD in teams of two. U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Marc Small, of Collegeville, PA, was assigned to 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), based in Fort Bragg, NC. He died on February 12, 2009, at the age of 29, from wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit with a rocket-propelled grenade launcher and small arms fire in Faramuz, Afghanistan. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Murray and Karen, mother and stepfather, Mary and Peter MacFarland, and fiancee Amanda Charney.

Happy Birthday !
I’ll see you guys at 5 tomorrow.
Happy Birthday, Karen!
Happy Birthday Karen!
Great job tonight on a long, tough metcon! We had a lot of variations of the WOD, and whether you were on a team of 1, 2, or 3 we loved how everyone gave it their 100%. A special shout out to Chris for coming to his first class tonight and doing an outstanding job on Team Small! Results from tonight:
Kevin and Joe – 34:20 Rx
Nikki and Tom (ouchie) – 29:55 Rx (1 full round + 2 rds just Nikki @ 1/2 reps)
Spotts and Barb – 41:35 Rx
John, Chris, Spence – 43:30 Rx (1.5x reps, 1 working at a time on row/run, 2 at a time on burpees and box)
Now that we got the long metcon out of the way, get ready for some lifting tomorrow!
Would have loved to have been there… My quads were way to sore to move. I look like Frankenstein when I walk or sit down. I plan to be there tomorrow.
Happy Birthday Karen!
So fun.
Lol, I sense sarcasm Kevin…
