We’re not gonna let a little bit of rain stop us… puddles are fun! Dress in synthetic layers and bring a warm change of clothes for after the WOD. This will be a good time!
-
Run 1600 meters for time
- Rest 4 minutes
- Run 800 meters for time
- Rest 3 minutes
- Run 400 meters for time
- Rest 2 minutes
- Run 200 meters for time
WOD Notes: Completing this WOD as prescribed will rack up just under 2 miles. As always, we can shorten the runs as needed to accomodate each member’s ability. If you’re scared of this WOD, it probably means you should be doing it! If you are the type of person who melts in the rain, or you’re legitimately concerned about running in the rain, your friendly coaches may entertain a rowing modification. Be prepared to state your case 🙂
Also remember we have our first Barbell Club session at 8am! If you haven’t already done so, fill out this spreadsheet and bring it with you.
Community Notes: Happy WEDDING DAY Mike Keeley!!! Best wishes for a happy future with the Mrs!

Happy day!
Best wishes Mike! 🙂
Best wishes to the Keeley’s tomorrow! …if you need a last minute best man, let me know.
Best wishes Mike!
Congratulations Mike, best wishes to you and your family.
Congrats Mike!
And in addition to the congrats of Mike, I also want to point out that people better be jacked up for tomorrow. A mile run for time is a great indicator running ability, lungs and stamina and in the cold rain it is just plain fun. Add to that tomorrow is the first barbell class and its shaping up to be a pretty good morning all around. I said it already, but I’m calling out Joe, Mark and Gunter. I’m gunning for you guys on that first mile.
GAME TIME!
After doing this WOD this morning, I agree it was good for me. But not exactly fun 🙂
Congrats Mike!!! Best wishes to you and your wife to be! 🙂
what’s the rowing modification? present surroundings aren’t very conducive to 1 mile runs.
Hey Mike! Same distances and rest periods, but row instead of run!
Sounds good Nikki. Hopefully i don’t cry the first 1600. yesterday’s workout left me with a hit by a train feeling when I woke up this morning.
