Woohoo, YEAH, who’s ready for some push press?? Get jacked up.

  2. Kevin

John, your excitement for lifts like this will undoubtedly get me in trouble with Sara. I told her last night I was going to be smart and just do some “fun” weight for reps. Undoubtedly that will not happen and I will try to get a 3 rep PR.

  3. Nikki

Kevin – what class time are you coming to? I’ll be sure to have John coach that one so he can’t lift with you and be a bad influence. πŸ™‚

  4. Lindsey

    In for 430!

For any runners looking for a group running/training opportunity, here is something nice and local! Every Thursday starting March 1st there will be a group run at VF park at 6:00pm. The workouts will be led by Tim Pappas, a Lululemon Ambassador and coach at CrossFit King of Prussia. Some days will be a distance run, others will be hill workouts. You can meet Tim and the other runners at the lower visitor center parking lot at Valley Forge Park. Feel free to bring your friends and family; all levels are welcome. It’s a great alternative to Make-Up night, especially for those of you looking to run Broad Street and other spring races!

To read more about Tim check out his profile on the Lululemon page: http://www.lululemon.com/kingofprussia/kingofprussia/ambassadors/TimmyPappas

I’ve been looking for a running group, since I STINK at running right now and really want to get better. As long as they don’t mind the slowest runner in the world tagging along I might check it out.

      1. Sarg

Tiana, let’s coordinate…. during sectionals i won’t be able to do Thursdays, but i’ll come be slow with you. πŸ™‚

  6. Nikki

Tiana I’m sure they’ll welcome all speeds and abilities! I can get you Tim’s contact info if you want to email him directly for more details, but I think you’ll be fine. Grab a few other runners from ICA who can stick with you if the rest of the group gets ahead!

  7. Lindsey

I may be down for the running group Tiana! I am not the best runner either so we can do it together : )

  8. Killa

Good idea Nikki, I like the teamwork! πŸ˜‰ Kev wanted me to apologize on his behalf for the rude accusation he made in his earlier comment…HE has chosen NOT to go heavy today, no outside influence from me of course.

FYI: If you see Kevin breaking HIS word today and going heavier than he knows he should…you have my permission to give him a dead arm. πŸ™‚

  9. John

    Always against us!

  10. Tiana

Sarg & Lindsey, yes please let’s definitely coordinate something!

  11. Joe

I’m in for the running group after the opens too.

  12. Christopher Chamberlain

I’m in for the running group also. That is if my legs still function after my 50k.
