    I can’t believe this has been up for 9 hours and the only reaction is from Fili. Everyone else is just taking this in stride, not nervous or worked up even a little?? (Boelker, tell me it’s not true!)

      Fine, I’ll bite.

      Believe it or not, IF, and I really mean IF, I do “Fran” Rx 48 hours before an Open WOD, it will be my first.

      My first “Fran” was 2 months into ICA using a band for pullups. My second, I chose not to do pullups, and modified to inverted bar rows to save my hands because the 2014 Masters of the Universe competition was that weekend.

      Maybe I’ll do:
      15-12-9
      – thrusters (135#)
      – strict pullups

      So, we shall see…

      Puhleaze…every element of your body (sans the rips in your hands) is dying to know how different your 9/2013 Fran versus your 3/2105 Fran.

      I swear I’m not. My legs are tired, tomorrow is one of my rest days, and the Open WOD on Friday? It’s an IF if I do it Rx or not. I’ll be there. This, we know.

    Seriously contemplating a day of rest! Thrusters are definitely my least favorite movement! But something slightly harsher then crap was the first thing through my mind.

    If that picture is a hint for 15.3, I like it. In theory. Until I have to do it. Lol Do you guys think he’d drop an obvious hint like that? Either way…….I’m staying and practicing DUs today bc I’m sure they’re coming.

      I’m with you, Danielle. I’m suspicious that it’s a decoy. How could he be so obvious with it, AND early? Usually his hints are later in the week.

      DUs are coming, as are thrusters and burpees and boxes.

      My theory is that with the scaled division available, there will be “separator” movements each week for the Rx workouts: Muscle Ups, Pistols, HSPUs, etc.

      Sprint across stadium
      14 pistols
      21 double-unders
      Sprint back

      Yikes!!

      I don’t think they could have a run as part of an open workout but this would definitely be a “separator” workout.
